Arrested Decay

Welcome to Theology For Girls!

Thank you for stopping by and please do come on in and take a look around.   I want to thank all of you who have visited regularly over the past three years.  What an incredible encouragement your comments and interactions have been!
Although I have no plans to add  any new entries in the near future, (I have learned to never say "never"),   this blog has not been abandoned but  rather it is now in a state of “Arrested Decay”.*    I will continue to maintain and organize what's already  here and hopefully make this place  useful.    If you would like to contact me, I would love to hear from you!   My email can be found on the About Me &  Contact link above.  Please feel free to use anything you find here unless there is a copyright posted  - I only ask that attributions for original articles be made and linked back here - thanks.

May God richly bless and keep you!

“Now to him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you blameless before the presence of his glory with great joy, to the only God, our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord,  be glory, majesty, dominion, and authority, before all time and now and forever. Amen.”
 Jude 1:24-25

Photo:  * Bodie, California is a  Ghost Town  a couple of hours drive from us that is listed on the  National Historic Register.  Once a thriving mining town of about 7,000 people it was abandoned  very quickly in the early 1900's leaving many of the shops and businesses still stocked as though they were open.    The term "Arrested Decay" was coined by the state of California to describe this unusual  place as they only maintain the roofs so the elements don't further destroy things.  Photo Source.
