Our Faithful God!

"Forever, O LORD, your word is firmly fixed in the heavens.
Your faithfulness endures to all generations;
you have established the earth, and it stands fast."
Psalm 119: 89-90

"God is not a man, that he should lie, nor a son of man,
 that he should change his mind.
Does he speak and then not act?
 Does he promise and not fulfill?"
Psalm 145:13

"His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness,
through the knowledge of him who called us to his own glory and excellence,
by which he has granted to us his precious and very great promises,
so that through them you may become partakers of the divine nature,
having escaped from the corruption that is in the world because of sinful desire."
 2 Peter 1:3-4

"You know with all your heart and soul
that not one of all the good promises the Lord your God gave you has failed.
Every promise has been fulfilled; not one has failed."
 Joshua 23:14

"Keep your life free from the love of money,
and be content with what you have,
for he has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”
Hebrews 13:5

"Now may the God of peace himself sanctify you completely,
...He who calls you is faithful; he will surely do it."
I Thessalonians 5:23-24

  "No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind.
 And God is faithful;
he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear."
I Corinthians 10:13

"Trust in the LORD, and do good;
dwell in the land and befriend faithfulness.
Delight yourself in the LORD,
and he will give you the desires of your heart:"
Proverbs 37:3-5

"But the Lord is faithful.
He will establish you and guard you against the evil one."
2 Thessalonians 3:3

"if we are faithless, he remains faithful— for he cannot deny himself".
2 Timothy 2:13

And our Faithful God will return for us!

  "Then I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse!
The one sitting on it is called Faithful and True,
 and in righteousness he judges and makes war.
His eyes are like a flame of fire, and on his head are many diadems,
 and he has a name written that no one knows but himself.
He is clothed in a robe dipped in blood,
 and the name by which he is called is The Word of God."
Revelation 19:11

  6. So.....is the youngin' here yet?!
    I'm just in from helping our CVFD fight a fire at a neighbors' home. It was a total loss except, praise God, the people got out safely! I'll blog about it directly but wanted to ask about our newest Christian to be.
    BTW, I love your profitable places list...well done, Diane!
